Olive wood flute in D

Here's another flute in D made from brass, olive wood and decorations with imitation ivory.

I only use brass in my uilleann pipes and whistle making so I'm using brass for these flutes too. The wood is olive from Italy.

The crown is made using an imitation ivory material as is the ring in the middle of the body.

It's a kind of style thing that I like and it reminds me of the flutes from the early 1800's.

The embouchure cut is a tiny bit smaller than some modern flutes so it doesn't take a huge amount of air so suitable for beginners and experienced players alike.

This flute comes with a case too.
